Employment Based Permanent or Immigrant Visas
Religious workers can immigrate if they are coming to the U.S. to work as ministers or to work for a religious organization in a professional capacity or to work for a religious organization in a religious vocation or occupation.
Prerequisite:
The applicant must have been a member of a religious denomination which has had a bonafide
non-profit religious organization in the U.S. for at least two years immediately before
application.
Processing Time:
Between 1 (one) and 3 (three) years.
Note: All employment based permanent or immigrant visas allow the spouse and children of under 21 years age to accompany the principal immigrant to immigrate as well.
